How the featured cashback sites were chosen

Whilst not a comprehensive listing of all the cashback sites available in the UK, I have listed those sites that I use myself and believe are doing a good job allowing the consumer to get cash back in a simple manner. Therefore, I've tried to keep the comparison factual rather than giving opinions or rating the sites, and so allowing you to choose which sites to join, based on the factors that are important to you.

I tend to avoid those sites that use an overly-complicated points system and neither do I use sites that provide only 'rewards' such as vouchers or sweets instead of cash. In my experience both these types of site represent poor value and so you won't find any of them listed here.

If there are other sites available that do provide cashback in a simple manner but which are not listed on bestcashbacksites.co.uk, it will be because I have not used them, or I am not aware of them, or maybe because I've had a look at them and have been unimpressed. So, you can be sure that those sites I have listed are ones that come with my recommendation.
